Request for Quote: Campground Manager - Mokihinui

Buller District Council is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to fill the position of Campground Manager for the Mokihinui Campground.

The campground manager provides the operational management of the campground, including guest services, facility and grounds maintenance, administration, and compliance activities.

The contractor will ensure the campground is operated safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard, in liaison with Buller District Council as the property administrator, and in a manner that reflects the Client’s expectations and community values.

  • Greet guests, check them into cabins, caravans or campsite
  • Maintain the facility including but not limited to buildings and machinery, mowing the reserve grounds and camping areas, and maintaining the grounds and reserve
  • Maintain and clean all the facilities
  • Carry out administrative tasks
  • Handle guest requests and feedback
  • Take accommodation bookings, manage reservation systems and maintain accurate records of reservation and payments
  • Clean, prepare and maintain high standards in facilities for community and visitor use
  • Keep up to date with public health requirements/restrictions
  • Order and/or purchase equipment and supplies, including fuel and stationery (within delegations)
  • Regular spring cleaning of facilities, including washing windows

Please note, there is no on-site accommodation provided for the successful respondent while undertaking the duties under the agreement.
