The Community-Led Revitalisation Fund was established to support community groups and volunteer organisations working on projects that will:
- Transform our public spaces.
- Bring new life to our communities and enhance community wellbeing.
- Grow community ownership of our places through the contribution of volunteers.
- Strengthen the relationship between the Council and the community.
Each year, the Council distributes $50,000 (excluding GST) through one funding round. This fund is budgeted annually within the Council’s Annual Plan, with the funding pool being contestable. Assistance is not available for individuals or commercial activities.
Applications are invited from community groups within the Buller District, with strong preference given to projects on Council-owned or leased land that complement Council-managed revitalisation projects.
All applications must be on the Community-Led Revitalisation Fund application form either submitted online, by email to grants@bdc.govt.nz or in person at our service centers.
Images or screenshots of applications or supporting documents will not be accepted. Please submit these in Word or PDF.
