Council meetings
Council meetings are held monthly. Meetings and workshops are open to the public unless there is reason to consider some items “public excluded”.

The Council Meeting Schedule can be viewed below. All meetings will commence at 3:30pm unless otherwise stated.
All Council meetings and workshops will be live-streamed to Council’s YouTube channel.
Council workshops are open for the public to attend, but there will not be a public forum or opportunity for the public to address Council.
Public forums
A public forum is held at the start of ordinary public meetings to allow members of the community to address Council.
Any persons wanting to address Council in person or by Zoom during the public forum section of a meeting can submit a request through our online or paper form.
Guidelines for speaking at the public forum have been developed and can be downloaded as follows:
Standing orders
Standing orders contain rules for the conduct of the proceedings of local authorities, committees, subcommittees, subordinate decision-making bodies, and local and community boards.
Their purpose is to enable local authorities to exercise their decision-making responsibilities in a transparent, inclusive, and lawful manner.
