The RVSC is your friendly first port of call if you are visiting Reefton and offers information on local attractions. The town’s gold rush in the 1860s helped to establish a rich heritage. You can walk through the RVSC's replica underground mine and check out the historical information and displays. There is also local information on mountain biking, hiking and 4WD tracks.
The RVSC is centrally located on Reefton’s main street and is equipped with wheelchair-friendly access and toilet facilities. Plenty of free parking is available nearby. Have a stroll down the main street and explore the historic adventures and scenic beauty that Reefton provides.

An ATM (automatic money machine) is located at the Reefton Visitor and Service Centre.
The Reefton Visitor and Service Centre is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 4.30 pm for all services, and on Saturdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for library services and visitor information.
During the peak visitor season and on public holidays, the RVSC is also open on Sundays, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for visitor information.
