Water supply shutdown - Gladstone Street: 25 September 2025

The water main supplying Gladstone Street between Queen Street and Derby Streets, including sections of Peel, Queen, and Romilly Streets, will be shut down from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Thursday 25 September to complete the changeover to the new section of water main along Gladstone Street.

During this time, there will first be a period of no water supply, followed by a period of low water pressure while flushing of all new connections and fire hydrants in the area is carried out.

All affected residents will be notified by letter drop. Please refer to the map below for areas affected by the shutdown. 

This work is weather dependent.

Purpose: Connection of new water main and laterals to all properties
