Westport and Reefton Customer Services closure: Tuesday 2 December

Buller District Council’s Westport and Reefton offices and associated customer-facing facilities will be closed temporarily for staff training on Tuesday 2 December 2025.

The facilities affected include:

• Customer Services, Westport - Brougham House
  CLOSED 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
  
  
• Sue Thomson Casey Library, Westport
  CLOSED 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
  
  
• NBS Theatre, Westport
  CLOSED 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
  
  
• Reefton Visitor and Service Centre
  CLOSED 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
  (NZ Post private mailboxes will be serviced as usual.)
  
  
• Reefton Cinema CLOSED

All other departments will remain available via phone and email

During this time residents can use the Council or library websites to access information or pay for a range of services including rates, building consent fees, resource consent fees, dog registration, and LIMs.

Normal operating hours resume Wednesday 3 December.
