Water Main Shutdown - Fonblanque and Colvin Streets: 20 August 2026

The water supply to Fonblanque Street between Derby Street and Colvin Street, and Colvin Street between Mill Street and Larsen Street will be shut down in two stages on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 August from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm to facilitate connection to the new water main and laterals.

During this time, there will be a period of no water, followed by a period of low water pressure while flushing of fire hydrants in the area is completed.

Residents are advised to store sufficient water for drinking and flushing toilets during this time.

Affected residents have been contacted by the contractor.

This work is weather dependent.
