Water Conservation Notice update: Punakaiki

Both the Punakaiki Klip Tank and top reservoir tanks are holding well, maintaining above 80% capacity. Council has observed a slight increase in the intake flow, which is a good sign.

With rain forecast, Council will continue to monitor the condition of the intake this week and may consider lifting the Conservation Water Notice once the intake flow has returned to normal operation.

At this stage, the Water Conservation Notice remains in place for Punakaiki and weekly updates will continue to be provided.
