Water conservation notice for Punakaiki lifted

Good news! The water conservation notice for Punakaiki has now been lifted.

Recent observations indicate that the intake is overflowing, and the intake flow has remained stable for several weeks. With the forecasted rainfall, the intake flow is expected to increase significantly.

Council thanks Punakaiki residents for their cooperation during the conservation period.
