Waimangaroa – Planned Water Supply Shutdown

Please be advised that the Waimangaroa water supply will experience a planned shutdown to allow for the replacement of a small section of trunk main triggered by culvert works on Conns Creek Road.

Council will also take this opportunity to complete trunkmain flowmeter maintenance activity at the same time, helping to reduce the likelihood of further water supply interruptions in the near future.

During the shutdown period, customers will initially experience no water supply, followed by temporary low water pressure while new connections and fire hydrants are flushed.

Purpose: Small Section of Trunk main replacement and flow meter maintenance

Date: Wednesday, 29 April 2026

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and advises affected residents to store sufficient water ahead of the shutdown period.

An update will be provided once the water supply has been fully restored on the day.
