Public Notice of Application Class 4 Gambling and TAB Venue Policy - Cosmopolitan Hotel

An application has been submitted by The Trust Community Foundation, 5 Langstone Lane, Northcote, Christchurch to the Buller District Council to increase gaming machines in an existing Class 4 gambling venue at the premises known as 

Cosmopolitan Hotel
136 Palmerston Street
Westport

The current number of gaming machines on the premises is six.  
The application requests an additional three gaming machines, bring the total number of nine machines to be approved.

The application can be inspected at the offices of the Buller District Council, 4-6 Brougham Street, Westport during the hours of 8.30am to 4.30pm, the Sue Thomson Casey Memorial Library or on Council’s website.

Any person may make a submission on this application by delivering a written submission to Council’s Westport office or posting it to Buller District Council, PO Box 21, Westport 7866. Submissions can also be made online.

Submissions must be received no later than 4:30pm on Friday 9th August 2024.
