Essential Use Water Notice lifted - Inangahua

Council is pleased to announce that the Essential Water Notice for Inangahua Junction has now been lifted.

The operations team has restored the pump speed to the normal rate of 2.4 L/s and monitored the impact on the well level over the past week. Monitoring has confirmed that the well is now fully replenished, with good recovery levels even at the full pump speed.

Council sincerely thanks the residents for their understanding and cooperation during this critical period, which lasted two and a half months.

We encourage the community to continue using water wisely—please avoid leaving outdoor water flows unattended or uncontrolled.
