Carters Beach Schadick Avenue water main shutdown notice

A water shutdown is planned on Wednesday 10 June from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Schadick Avenue while new water mains and property connections are completed.

During this period, customers will initially experience no water supply, followed by a period of low water pressure while the new connections and fire hydrants are flushed.

Please refer to the attached plan for details of the affected areas.

This shutdown is severe weather dependent.

Shutdown Details

Purpose: Connection of new water main and laterals

Start Date: Wednesday 10th of June 2026

Work hours: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

Shutdown hours: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
