Buller District Council welcomes new Group Manager Infrastructure Services
Buller District Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Blom as the new Group Manager Infrastructure Services, effective 5 November 2024.
Anthony is a seasoned senior infrastructure leader with over 25 years’ experience driving positive outcomes through ensuring key project teams and suppliers work effectively to maximise benefits for stakeholders.
Prior to joining Buller District Council, he has held significant roles at North Shore City Council and Auckland Transport and has broad experience with infrastructure development, operations and maintenance covering waste, waters, transport and property portfolios.
Anthony has previously managed Auckland waste facilities, and his experience gained through working with companies such as Envirowaste demonstrates familiarity with the challenges facing Buller.
Commenting on his new role, Anthony expresses enthusiasm for joining the Buller community: “I am looking forward to joining the team at Buller and am excited to be moving into such a strong, friendly community.”
Mr Blom’s appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for Buller District Council's Infrastructure Services.
