Class 4 gaming venue application from the Cosmopolitan Hotel
An application has been submitted by The Trust Community Foundation Ltd, 5 Langstone Lane, Northcote, Christchurch 8052 to the Buller District Council to increase gaming machines in an existing Class 4 gambling venue at the premises known as the Cosmopolitan Hotel, 136 Palmerston Street, Westport 7825.
The current number of gaming machines on the premises is six. The application requests an additional three gaming machines, bringing the total number of nine machines to be approved.
Any person could make a written submission on this application, either online or by filling out the paper form.
Submissions opened on Friday, 26 July, and closed at 4:30 pm on Friday, 9 August 2024.
Submitters who wish to speak about their applications will be able to do so during the hearings. A hearing date will be advised after the submission period has closed.
We are currently reviewing the submissions. All submissions will be made public and a report will go to Council.
