Buller District Council must notify road closures on local roads within the district pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974 and the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965.

To apply for a road closure on local roads in Buller (these are all roads excluding State Highways), you need to submit a Traffic Management Plan to Council. Read more about this on our roading page.
