Public notice of application for On-licence, off-licence, or club licence (or application for variation of conditions of on-licence, off-licence, or club-licence)

Westport Returned Soldiers Bowling Club Incorporated, 136-142 Queen Street, Westport has made application to the District Licensing Committee at Westport for renewal of Club Licence with a variation (change) to conditions in respect of the premises situated at 136-142 Queen Street and known as Westport RS Bowling Club.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is Club.

The change to conditions requested is regarding the hours of operation being an additional two hours in total per week, and changes to the hours per day. These hours are still within the definition of Class 3 Club.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are:  Monday – Wednesday 4.00pm-7.00pm, Friday 3.00pm-10.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 10.00am-10.00pm.

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the offices of the Buller District Licensing Committee at 6-8 Brougham Street, Westport.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the application may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at PO Box 21, Westport 7866.

No objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

Buller District Council trading as NBS Theatre has made application to the District Licensing Committee at Westport for  renewal of on-licence in respect of the premises situated at 105 Palmerston Street, Westport and known as NBS Theatre.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is theatre/cinema.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are Monday to Sunday 11.00 am – 1.00 am the following day.

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the offices of the Buller District Licensing Committee at 6-8 Brougham Street, Westport.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the application may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at PO Box 21, Westport 7866.
