Public notice of application for On-licence, off-licence, or club licence (or application for variation of conditions of on-licence, off-licence, or club-licence

     Section 101 Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

Wild Coast Limited, 4300 Coast Road, State Highway 6, Punakaiki has made application to the District Licensing Committee at Westport for renewal of On-Licence in respect of the premises situated at 4300 Coast Road, State Highway 6 and known as Pancake Rocks Café.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is Café/Restaurant.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are Monday to Sunday 5.00pm-11.00pm

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the offices of the Buller District Licensing Committee at 6-8 Brougham Street, Westport.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the application may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at PO Box 21, Westport 7866.

No objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

Westport Bowling Club Incorporated, c/ 2/83 Romilly Street, Westport has made application to the District Licensing Committee at Westport for renewal  of Club Licence in respect of the premises situated at the corner of Lyndhurst and Romilly Streets, Westport  and known as Westport Bowling Club.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is (Bowling) Club.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are 10.00am-7.00pm Thursday to Sunday, 1 September to 30 April the following year and 10.00am-7.00pm on Sundays between 1 May to 31 August annually.

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the offices of the Buller District Licensing Committee at 6-8 Brougham Street, Westport.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the application may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at PO Box 21, Westport 7866.

Diana Rosemaree Storer – Hotelier, 144 Waverley Street, Karamea has made application to the Buller District Licensing Committee at Westport for a renewal of Off-Licence in respect of the premises situated at 144 Waverley Street, Karamea and known as Karamea Village Hotel.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is Hotel.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are Monday to Sunday 7.00am-11.00pm.

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the offices of the Buller District Licensing Committee at 6-8 Brougham Street, Westport.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the application may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at PO Box 21, Westport 7866.

No objection to the issue of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 105(1) of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

No objection to the renewal of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

Diana Rosemaree Storer – Hotelier, 144 Waverley Street, Karamea has made application to the Buller District Licensing Committee at Westport for a renewal of On-Licence with a variation to conditions in respect of the premises situated at 144 Waverley Street, Karamea and known as Karamea Village Hotel.

The variation to conditions refer to an addition of a “Restricted” designation to the area within the public bar that contains the gaming machines whereby no persons under the age of 18 may be allowed in that area.  The gaming machines are not a new addition, however a Supervised designation, rather than a Restricted designation, was inadvertently placed on the area at the last renewal of licence.

The general nature of the business to be conducted under the licence is Hotel.

The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is intended to be sold under the licence are Monday to Sunday 8.00am – 3.00am the following day.

The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the offices of the Buller District Licensing Committee at 6-8 Brougham Street, Westport.

Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the application may, not later than 15 working days after the date of the first publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the District Licensing Committee at PO Box 21, Westport 7866.
