Following recommendations from the Ministry of Health, all Council facilities will be closed from Wednesday afternoon. This includes the Reefton Service Centre, domain halls, Council campgrounds, playgrounds and public toilets

While all Council facilities will be closed, we would like to reassure the community that all essential services will continue. This includes curbside rubbish collection.

You can also lodge a service request online at www.bullerdc.govt.nz/request-for-service/.  You can also get up to date information from the Buller District Council Facebook page.

Mayor Jamie Cleine says Councillors and staff will continue to work to support our community through this time, “the health and wellbeing of our community is the priority and we will continue to follow the information from central government and the Ministry of Health.”

Essential businesses like pharmacies, supermarkets, waste removal, internet providers and service stations will stay open.
