Water shutdown - Bentham Street: 11 December 2025

The water supply to Bentham Street from The Esplanade to Peel Street, including sections of The Esplanade, Adderley, Palmerston, Russell and Queen Streets will be shut down:

Thursday 11 December from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm

This is to complete the changeover to the new section of water main on Bentham Street.

During this time, there will be a period of no water, followed by a period of low pressure while flushing of all new connections and fire hydrants in the area is completed.

This work is weather dependent.
