Buller District Council

Nominations for Community Representatives- Creative Communities Scheme Assessment Committee

14th July, 2017

Buller District Council receives funding from Creative New Zealand on an annual basis from the Creative Communities Scheme; these funds are distributed for arts projects throughout Buller.

A dedicated group of committee members review all applications for funding three to four times per year.

The committee is made up of two Councillors and one member from each Community Arts Council in Buller, of which we have three – Karamea Community Arts Council, Buller Community Arts Council which covers the Westport area and the Inangahua Community Arts Council which covers the Reefton area, and several community representatives.

Council is seeking new community representatives for this committee. Community representatives can be from anywhere in the Buller District. If you have an interest in the arts or know someone who has, you can download a nomination form below. Nomination forms are also available at Council offices in Westport and Reefton.
