Buller District Library provides free computing and Internet access via the Aotearoa People’s Network Kaharoa(APNK) available at Westport and Reefton library.
APNK desktop PCs are available for customer use and are installed with a range of software; Microsoft Word, Open Office, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Skype, Adobe Acrobat reader and other programs. Each APNK PC has a DVD and CD drive , USB ports, memory card slots, a webcam and headset.
Free wifi access is also available during library opening hours at all libraries.
Westport Library – 5 PCs and wifi
Reefton Library – 2 PCs and wifi
Use of the computers is on a first come, first served basis. At busy times a limit of 30 mins per session applies.
Bookings are advised. Please ask a staff member or call the library in Westport 03 7888030 or Reefton 03 7328821 to book a session.
Black and white, A4 printing is available from PCs and wifi at a cost of $0.30 per page.
